Supports domestic postgraduate coursework students in the UQ Business School by contributing towards tuition costs.

The scholarship is open to current HDR candidates in the fields of the Humanities, Arts, and Social Sciences. The activities undertaken by the student as part of their travel must leverage unique research capabilities or collections of German institutions, with the potential to increase overall Australia-Germany engagement in the long term. The travel must occur to and around Berlin, Germany.

Financial support for PhD candidates who study in a social science discipline.

The purpose of the scholarship is to support Honours students to undertake research in areas of quantum and advanced technologies with an aim to build a pipeline of early career researchers and increase representation of those who identify as women, are non-binary, are of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander descent, or are from regional areas.

UQ is funding a limited number of travel bursaries valued at AU$4000 each to support UQ HDR candidates to travel to the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2025 for research exchange or as part of their collaborative supervision program.

Supports Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander students experiencing financial hardship to undertake coursework study.
