Eligibility

You are eligible if you: 

  • apply for the scholarship by the closing date for applications; and
  • are studying full-time at the School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability or UQ Skills; and
  • are currently enrolled full-time in the Approved Program.

How to apply

Complete an online application form. You will need:

  • your studies report or academic transcript
  • a personal statement
  • proof of your financial circumstances (e.g., Tax return and/or Centrelink statements)

Selection criteria

We will consider: 

  • financial need
  • past or current academic achievement
  • strength of personal statement included with application
  • any other matter that the Associate Dean considers to be relevant to the applicant’s success in their studies.

About this scholarship

Established in 2018 by the Rt Hon Doug Anthony AC, CH, FTSE to support students at the School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability or UQ Skills. Mr Anthony is an alumni of Gatton College (LAWES) Qld Diploma in Agriculture (1948) and recipient of the 1985 Council Gold Medal.
