Supports a high-achieving female student who attended a Queensland secondary school in the previous year.

Established by the Department of Environment, Science and Innovation (DESI) the Quantum and Advanced Technologies Talent Building Program aims to build the talent pipeline for the quantum and advanced technologies ecosystem in Queensland. This travel scholarship is open to PhD candidates who are in receipt of a base living stipend and conducting research excluding the following areas: Quantum, Compound semi-conductors, Superconductors, Photonics, Micro-electromechanical systems. The applicant must have a research question that could benefit from collaboration with research or industry partners in quantum or advanced technologies. The scholarship aims to support the applicant to conduct research at an alternative location to their current research group, such as another faculty within the same university, another university, or organisation

UQ is funding a limited number of travel bursaries valued at AUD4,000 each to support UQ HDR candidates to travel to the Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2027 on a Research Exchange or as part of a Collaborative Supervision Program. Doctoral candidates participating in the research exchange program should stay at TUM from 3 to 12 months. Candidates enrolled in a Joint Supervision PhD are expected to undertake a 12-month research exchange at TUM.

This scholarship aims to support undergraduate commencing and continuing students across the 3 schools who are facing financial hardship.

Supports a Chinese student enrolled in an approved degree program offered by the UQ Business School.

Supports undergraduate students who are studying a Bachelor of Commerce and are experiencing financial hardship.

Support students in financial need who are studying commerce or business within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law.

Encourages and supports undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship to study economics or commerce.

Supports female students to study finance and pursue a career in quantitative finance, fund management or investment management.
