The University of Queensland (UQ) and the Queensland Academy of Sport (QAS) are awarding up to 8 research scholarships to fast-track sport innovation ahead of Brisbane 2032. Students seeking to complete PhD projects addressing the current and future needs of sports and Para-sports are encouraged to apply.

Encourages and supports new students who have demonstrated a passion for netball.

A top-up scholarship is available to an exceptional candidate for a research PhD project implementing and evaluating a health service innovation using a co-creation approach with our partners. A range of research project options are available.

Supports a student who has completed their second year in Medicine and intends to undertake a research project as part of their postgraduate studies.

Supports medicine students to undertake a research project for their postgraduate studies.

Supports a student wishing to undertake a M-Phil or PhD research project as part of their Doctor of Medicine studies.

Supports a postgraduate medicine student.

Provides an opportunity for Year 3 medical students to be awarded a prize in pharmacology and therapeutics.

Supports students studying in the Faculty of Medicine by providing funding to present their research at a scientific conference.

Provides an opportunity for a student to be rewarded for an interstate or overseas study experience.
