Through the National Industry PhD Program (NiPhD), candidates engage in a collaboratively designed PhD project involving both academic and industry partners, with opportunities for extended placement within an industry environment during their HDR studies.

The Dr Belinda Lloyd Memorial Translational Research Travel Grant aims to support both Higher Degree by Research students and early career researchers within The University of Queensland’s Faculty of Health, Medicine who are working on research with the strong potential to translate into health policy and/or practice. The grant provides financial support for those wishing to present their research at relevant national and international conferences.

Supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students enrolled in a postgraduate program through the School of Economics to purchase technology and travel back to Country during their studies at The University of Queensland.

Supports students who are experiencing financial hardship and studying an undergraduate program in veterinary science.

Supports outstanding second-year undergraduates enrolled in a program in the broad field of agriculture who need financial help to study.

Supports coursework students in agriculture-related programs, with a preference for students majoring in horticulture and students from Childers.
