The purpose of the scholarship is to support a domestic HDR student engaged in large animal research, including production, reproduction, surgery, pathology or medicine research in veterinary science.

This PhD travel scholarship was established in 2012 and is maintained by donations and a bequest from Dr Joan Allsop

This scholarship is open to Higher Degree by Research candidates in the field of veterinary science.

Assists international students studying the Master of Pharmaceutical Industry Practice.

This Scholarship is open to HDR students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering or Maths (STEM) to
undertake travel as part of their research or, if for whatever reason travel is not permitted, then to support other
professional development opportunities relevant to the student's research. There is a preference for candidates
who are domestic students in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy and who are not in receipt of any other
top up scholarships.

The scholarship was established in 1949 and is maintained by a donation from the Trustees of the Walter and
Eliza Hall Trust. The purpose of the scholarship is to support a Higher Degree by Research candidate in
undertaking research travel overseas.

Supporting students financially who are intending to enrol, or are enrolled, in a business postgraduate program.

Encouraging and supporting undergraduate nursing, midwifery and social work students who are experiencing financial hardship.

Encourages and assists meritorious students of European languages other than English at UQ to improve their language proficiency through an in-country experience.

Supports undergraduate students experiencing financial hardship undertaking studies in the humanities.
