The purpose of the Scholarships is to encourage and support students to undertake and continue undergraduate studies in the disciplines of Agricultural Science, Horticulture and Veterinary Science.

Assists students studying economics who are financially disadvantaged.

Assists students at the UQ School of Agriculture and Food Sustainability studying to increase productivity in Australia’s pastoral industry.

Supports students undertaking tertiary study for the first time, in the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) program.

Assists high-achieving UQ students studying food technology and rural agriculture who are experiencing financial hardship.

Supports undergraduate students within the Faculty of Science, facing financial hardship.

Encourages and supports undergraduate students from the School of Veterinary Science who are facing financial hardship.

Supports a student entering tertiary study for the first time and undertaking an undergraduate program in the field of veterinary science.

The Molly and Jim Ashe Memorial Award in Shelter Animal Care is open to students enrolled full-time in a program managed by the School of Veterinary Science.

Supports a financially disadvantaged student studying at the School of Economics at The University of Queensland.
