Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- can demonstrate financial need (Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, etc.)
- are enrolled in an approved program in the semester of the award.

Refer to the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship Scheme landing page for information on offer rounds and corresponding application closing dates.
You only need to submit ONE application to be considered for ALL scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status
- community service and/or leadership achievements.
Selection criteria

- demonstrated financial need
- personal qualities, including leadership potential
- academic ability
