This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you are or will be:
- a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy;
- enrolled full-time in an Approved Program;
- a resident at Kev Carmody House;
- part of the Young Achievers Program;
and can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.
How to apply
Apply using the online application portal.
You'll need your:
- QTAC or UQ number
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, or a personal statement.
- evidence of regional/rural/remote residency
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status (if applicable)
- evidence of health issues or disabilities (if applicable)

About this scholarship
The Young Achievers Residential Scholarship is a partnership between UQ and Kev Carmody House to support Young Achievers to access higher education with a contribution to residential costs.
