Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are enrolled full-time in the fourth year of the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)/Master of Engineering or dual engineering program
  • have completed an approved exchange the previous year 
  • do not hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean deems similar.

You'll need: 

  • a cover letter
  • your resume
  • copy of your acceptance letter from your Host Institution
  • copy of your approval letter from UQ for your approved exchange
  • copy of your most recent academic transcript from mySI-net
  • a copy of your study plan at the Host Institution.

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • academic performance while on exchange
  • academic achievement in the Approved Program (see list below)
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to the applicant's future success in the chemical engineering profession.

About this scholarship

Founded by a bequest in 1955 under the will of Miss Margaret Nicoll.
