This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if:
- you are a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy;
- you are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program;
- you are a resident at Duchesne College; and
- you can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.
How to apply
You'll need your:
- QTAC reference number.
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.
- regional/rural/remote residency

Selection criteria
Preference will be given to applicants who (in order of preference) –
- are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area;
- are First in Family.

Established in 2024 by Peter and Lea Walker-Franks under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, the annual distributions of the endowment support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at Duchesne College.
