Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an Australian citizen, permanent resident or the holder of an Australian permanent humanitarian visa
- can demonstrate financial need
- are, or intend to be, enrolled on a full-time basis, except in exceptional circumstances as considered relevant by the committee.

You may need to provide (if applicable):
- academic results in:
- secondary school studies or,
- tertiary level studies to date or,
- other post-secondary study.
- evidence of financial need (most recent tax and Centrelink statements for yourself and your parents)
- elite level sporting achievements in your chosen sport from the past 2 years (including two referees)

Selection criteria
We'll consider:
- demonstrated financial need
- sporting achievements to date
- potential to perform in your chosen sport at an elite level (state or national)
- any other information that the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in your studies.
About this scholarship
Named in honour of The Honourable Dr Penelope Wensley AC and established in 2020 by Alumni Friends under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative. This Scholarship is maintained by the Alumni Friends Giving Society endowment fund.
