Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an international student.
And you:
- have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2027 in an eligible program. Check the scholarship terms and conditions (PDF, 125 KB).
- have satisfied all the conditions of the program offer.
- have satisfied the program entry rank and English language proficiency requirements.
- have achieved a competitive score as determined by the University among the pool of offer holders for programs in their commencement semester.
And you have not:
- received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ (excluding the UQ English Language Scholarship).
- received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (applicants with partial scholarships/sponsorships may be considered).
How to apply
You don't need to apply for this scholarship. When you apply to study a program at UQ, you're automatically assessed for this scholarship.
What happens next
If you are eligible, we will notify you that you're offered this scholarship together with your unconditional letter of offer to study at UQ or once you have satisfied all the conditions of your conditional letter of offer. We will let you know the deadline for accepting your scholarship offer.
If you're awarded the scholarship, the 25% tuition fee reduction will be applied prior to the tuition fees due date each semester.
