Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an international student.
And you:
- have applied to study full-time at UQ commencing in 2027 or 2028 in a coursework program, and are being considered for a package offer that includes Bridging English at UQ College. Check the terms and conditions for packaged applicants (PDF, 127KB) or terms and conditions for sponsored applicants (PDF, 126KB).
- have met the academic requirements for admission to UQ but need to meet the English Language Proficiency requirements.
How to apply
You don't need to apply for this scholarship. When you apply to study a program at UQ, you're automatically assessed for this scholarship.
What happens next
If you are eligible, we will notify that you're offered this scholarship together with your UQ offer letter.
You must accept your offer, meet any payment requirements specified in your offer and enrol in your UQ College Bridging English (BE) program. For packaged students, enrolment in the UQ program is required for this scholarship to apply.
For packaged students:
When you accept your packaged offer, you will need to pay the Bridging English (BE) program fee. The UQ College enrolment fee will be waived. Once you commence your UQ degree, up to 20 weeks of BE program fees will then be credited towards your UQ program.
