About this scholarship
Through their gift, the Ulysses Club wishes to support and encourage PhD students pursuing research in the field of Rheumatoid Arthritis, and other related immunological diseases, in line with the Ulysses Club Arthritis Research Fund mission.
Eligibility
You are eligible for this scholarship if you are applying to undertake a PhD in the field of Rheumatoid Arthritis, and other related immunological diseases.
How to apply
You will be considered for this scholarship when you apply for a higher degree by research program at UQ in the domestic scholarship round (2025 Round 2).
Selection criteria
Your application will be ranked on the basis of:
- Academic achievement and the potential of scholastic success; and
- Any other matters the selection committee considers to be relevant to your future research development.
Rules
This is a philanthropic HDR top up scholarship and adheres to the terms and conditions outlined in the Schedule A Postgraduate Research Scholarships.
All philanthropic scholarship recipients must follow the conditions of UQ Research Scholarships terms and conditions
Holders of these philanthropic scholarships must acknowledge them in any paper that is published as a result of the research conducted while the recipient held the scholarship.
Donors may also invite the recipient to present on the work conducted as part of the scholarship, in which case they must comply or risk losing the scholarship.
