Eligibility
You’re eligible if you:
- are enrolled full-time in the following programs:
- Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours)
- Master of Veterinary Science
- a Higher Degree Research project based on veterinary science owned by the School of Veterinary Science at UQ
- can demonstrate financial need.

Selection criteria
We’ll consider:
- your personal statement addressing the academic benefit of the bursary support
- evidence of disadvantage which includes, but is not limited to:
- financial need or hardship
- being from a rural or regional area
- being the first in your family to attend university
- having a medical condition or disability or being the primary carer for a family member with a medical condition or disability.

About this scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2018 by a bequest from Edna Dorothy Griffiths, to assist students from a disadvantaged background studying veterinary science at The University of Queensland.
