Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are a domestic student
- will be 21 years of age or older during your first year of enrolment
- can demonstrate and provide documentary evidence of financial hardship
And you:
- are enrolled as a commencing student in a program administered by the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences

don't already hold a university degree.

- a statement of no more than 500 words that best describes your financial situation and circumstances
- details of your academic achievements to date.

We'll consider:
- demonstrated financial need
- academic achievement based on prior studies
- any other matter the selection committee considers relevant to your future success in completing your degree.

About this scholarship
The Robertson Family Scholarship was established in 2013 in memory of A. K. (Bill) Robertson and V. M. (Molly) Robertson through an endowed gift from their children. Bill Robertson and Molly Robertson were both mature-age students at UQ, graduating with Bachelor of Arts degrees – Bill Robertson in 1950 and Molly Robertson in 1972.
