Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- can demonstrate financial need
- are enrolled full time in any undergraduate program at the University of Queensland.

You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:
- financial circumstances (such as Centrelink Statements, ATO notices, etc.)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status
- academic achievements
- community service and/or leadership achievements.
You only need to complete one form to be considered for all scholarships under the UQ-ICS and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarships.

About this scholarship
This scholarship was initially established in 2017 as part of the UQ Rio Tinto Education Partnership and is maintained by an annual gift from Rio Tinto Services Limited.
