This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are a domestic student
- can demonstrate financial hardship
- are enrolled, or intend to enrol, in any Bachelor Program in the year the scholarship is awarded
- are a commencing student with no prior tertiary study at a bachelor level or above
- is or intends to be a resident at an Approved Accommodation Provider
- have resided in North Queensland (the city of Townsville or any location that lies north) at the time of application.
How to apply
Apply using the online application portal.
You'll need your:
- QTAC reference number
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.
- proof of regional/rural/remote residency

Selection criteria
This scholarship will be awarded to the applicants who have resided in North Queensland at the time of the application.
