This scholarship is part of the Liveris Academy Merit Scholarship Scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are enrolled as a continuing full-time student in an undergraduate program in 2025 and have completed no more than 32 units towards an approved program; or
- intend to enrol full-time as a commencing student in an approved program in 2025
- are a commencing student who achieved a minimum ATAR of 99.00 (or equivalent)
- continuing Student who has a minimum GPA of 5.8 (or equivalent)
- do not hold another scholarship that the Director considers to be similar.
How to apply
NOT CURRENTLY ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS - The next available opportunity will be for Semester 1 2026, with applications opening July 2025.

You'll need to prepare:
- a cover letter
- your resume
- responses to 2 provided questions
- a copy of your reports from Year 11, Semester 2 and Year 12, Semester 1 or, if you are a current student, your most recent studies report, and
- a 1-minute video in response to a provided question.

Selection criteria
We'll consider:
- academic achievements
- leadership achievement and/or potential
- community service/engagement
- alignment with the graduate attributes of the Liveris Academy
- willingness to participate and contribute to co-curricular activities at UQ and through the Liveris Academy
- any other matter the selection committee considers relevant for your future academic success at UQ and in your subsequent career.
Preference may be given to commencing students.
What happens next
We’ll acknowledge your application by email. If you have not received an email within 2 days of applying, email scholarships@eait.uq.edu.au.
If you’re considered eligible, we’ll forward your application to a selection panel to review.
If you’re successful, we will notify you in writing to organise an interview.
About this scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2021 and is maintained by an annual gift to encourage and support outstanding students in an Approved Program at UQ, through financial support and Membership with the Liveris Academy.
