Scholarship description

McCullough Robertson is a leading Australian law firm with a long history of supporting organisations, charities and people across a diverse range of areas.

The Scholarship will take the form of monetary assistance to help with living expenses for 12 months and will be paid in two instalments – one during Semester 1 and one during Semester 2. Payments will be made after the relevant Census Date. The value of each scholarship will not be less than $3000.

Eligibility

You are eligible to apply for this Scholarship if you –

  • submit an application to the Head by the closing date for applications; and
  • are a domestic student in accordance with The University’s Fee Policy; and 
  • are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program in the year the Scholarship is to be awarded; and
  • do not hold another scholarship that the Head considers to be similar.

In making its recommendation the selection committee will take the following factors into account -

  • academic merit;
  • demonstrated disadvantage including social, physical or economic;
  • cultural diversity; and
  • personal qualities.

If the applicant is Indigenous, being a graduate of the Yalari program (or having a relationship with Yalari), this will be regarded favourably.  Applicants will be required to attend an interview.
