Eligibility

You’re eligible if you:

  • Will be enrolling in the Master of Business Analytics or Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics
  • Commencing your program in Semester 2, 2024
  • are a domestic student
  • have a minimum of three-years’ work experience within the Public Sector
  • can provide a personal statement as outlined in ‘How to apply’

How to apply

Complete the online application form.

You’ll need:

  • a personal statement in video format of no more than 5 minutes answering the following:
    • your motivations to study the Master of Business Analytics or Graduate Certificate in Business Analytics and how this program will support your career growth and development within the public services and public enterprises sector
    • how you overcame a professional or personal obstacle
    • what you have done to make your work environment or community a better place
  • any additional information you wish the Scholarship panel to take into consideration (e.g., caring responsibilities; volunteering or other similar non-paid work experiences; start-up roles; etc.)
  • evidence of previous work experience or voluntary work (e.g. CV/resume, employment statements, reference letters)

Selection criteria

We’ll consider:

  • evidence of academic merit
  • paid and/or volunteer work experience
  • community involvement
  • motivations to studying business analytics and how this will relate to your career progression
  • personal statement responses.

What happens next

The selection committee will meet soon after the closing date and will notify you of the outcome in writing.

About this scholarship

The purpose of the scholarship is to encourage and support domestic students who are currently employed in Public Sector organisations by providing accessible and highly relevant digital transformation study for staff growth and development.
