This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are a domestic student
- are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person
- are a commencing student with no prior tertiary study at a bachelor level or above
- are or intend to be a resident at Kev Carmody House
- can demonstrate financial hardship.
How to apply
Apply using the online application portal.
You'll need:
- your QTAC reference number
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.
- proof of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status
- evidence of personal qualities, including leadership potential

Selection criteria
This scholarship will be awarded to students who are an Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person and on the basis of financial hardship and academic ability.
