Description

The purpose of the Scholarship is to support students undertaking the first year of study in the undergraduate veterinary science program who, upon graduation, will use their best endeavours to obtain work within the Queensland Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry or with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO).

Eligibility

An applicant is eligible for the award of a Scholarship in a year if, in that year, the applicant:

  •  Is enrolled in the first year of the Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) program; and
  • Who, upon graduation, will use their best endeavours to serve at least two (2) years’ employment with the Queensland Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry (or any subsequent department that will perform their duties) or with the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO)
