Eligibility
You are eligible if you:
- will be enrolling, or are currently enrolled in an approved program:
- Bachelor of Commerce in a declared Finance major.
- Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours).
- Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) in a declared Finance major.
- Bachelor of Laws (Honours).
- are a domestic female student
- can provide a personal statement as outlined in ‘How to Apply’

- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income, etc.
- any other documents relevant to your application, such as certificates, references or awards.
You’ll also be asked to tell us about:
- why you chose your field of study
- your future career aspirations
- how this scholarship will assist you financially

About this scholarship
This scholarship was established in 2025 and maintained by an annual gift from Mr. Thomas Chiles Griffin III and Mrs. Robin Angela Bream. The purpose of this Scholarship is to encourage and support women who are undertaking an Approved Program administered by the UQ Business School or UQ School of Law, and have experienced financial hardship.
