Eligibility
Any undergraduate student at UQ is eligible to enter the competition.
How to apply
Apply using the online application portal. You will need to provide:
- personal details
- an essay on poetry to enter in the competition
Selection criteria
The prize will be awarded to the best essay on poetry as determined by the prize examiners.
What happens next
We’ll email you to let you know when we've received your application. If you have not received an email within 2 days of applying, email us at scholarships@hass.uq.edu.au.
If you’re considered eligible, we’ll forward your application to a selection panel to review.
If you’re successful, we will notify you in writing.
About this scholarship
The prize was established in 2020 and is maintained by a bequest from the estate of the late Violet Kuskie, in memory of her husband Geoffrey Joseph Kuskie.
