Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are a domestic student
  • are enrolled in the Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) or an engineering integrated program or dual engineering program
  • are enrolled in a field or major offered by the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science
  • have completed the required number of units as specified in the tables below

Upon return from the overseas exchange, the student must submit to the Head of School a report of no more than 1,000 words on their study experience. The report may be reproduced in school or faculty publications.

  • your resume
  • a copy of your acceptance letter from your Host Institution
  • a copy of your approval letter from UQ for your approved exchange
  • a copy of your most recent academic transcript from mySI-net
  • a copy of your study plan at the Host Institution 
  • a copy of your planned budget

We'll consider:

  • academic achievement 
  • strength of the proposed overseas study program
  • personal qualities, including leadership potential
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers relevant to your future success.

About this scholarship

Established in 1994 and maintained by the income from a bequest from the late Frank Joseph Murphy.
