Eligibility
You're eligible if you:
- are enrolled or intend to enrol full-time in the following programs:
- Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours)
- are a domestic student
- can demonstrate financial hardship.
How to apply
Apply via the online application form. You'll need:
- details of your past academic achievements
- evidence of your financial need or inability to access funds
- results of your previous studies at school, UQ or other colleges or universities
- a written answer response (500 words max) to the following questions:
- explain your financial need and how the scholarship will make a difference to you; why you are interested in studying Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics Honours
- outline your personal qualities, this could include evidence of leadership potential, details of your responsibility for others, community involvement, cultural or sporting achievements, or any other information which you consider relevant to your application
- any other supporting documentation that is relevant to your application.

About this scholarship
Established in 2020 as part of the Create Change Scholarship Match Scheme and in collaboration with Alumni Friends, Dr Catherine A Lawrence and Mr Geoff Lawrence have agreed to establish the EJ Fisher Undergraduate Scholarship at The University of Queensland to support domestic students accepted into the Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics Honours program who are facing financial hardship.
