Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are enrolled in an approved program (see list below); and
  • are studying any field of engineering in the civil engineering discipline; and
  • have completed between 28 to 43 units of your approved program.

Approved Program

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Engineering
  • an engineering dual program.

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • academic achievements
  • personal qualities, including leadership potential
  • other evidence deemed to be relevant to your future success in the engineering profession, as demonstrated by a cover letter and resume and verified by the Head’s selection committee.

About this scholarship

Established in 2004 in memory of Ed Parchimowicz, a civil engineer, and former UQ Engineering Manager who died in 2002. The prize is maintained by the income from a fund subscribed by organisations and individuals associated with him and The University of Queensland.
