This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if:
- you are a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy;
- you are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program;
- you are a resident at Duchesne College; and
- you can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.

Apply using the online application portal
You'll need your:
- QTAC reference number
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.
- regional/rural/remote residency (if applicable)

Selection criteria
Preference will be given to applicants who (in order of preference) –
- are from a Regional, Rural or Remote Area;
- are First in Family.

About this scholarship
Established in 2021 by Patrick and Kate O’Dwyer, under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, the annual distributions of the endowment support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at Duchesne College.
