This scholarship is part of the UQ Residential Scholarships Scheme. You only need to submit one application to be considered for all scholarships in this scheme.
Eligibility
You're eligible if you are or will be:
- a domestic student in accordance with the University’s Fee Policy;
- enrolled full-time in an Approved Program;
- a resident at The Women’s College;
- do not already hold a bursary or scholarship from The Women’s College;
and can demonstrate financial hardship by providing documentary evidence.

You'll need:
- QTAC reference number
- evidence of financial hardship such as Centrelink statements, ATO statements, family income etc.
- evidence of community service/leadership achievements

Selection criteria
The Scholarship is awarded to the students that best demonstrate the selection criteria of –
- strength of interest in community service as evidenced by application; and
- strength of leadership qualities as evidenced by application.

About this scholarship
Established in 2021 by The Women’s College in partnership with Alumni Friends, under the Create Change Scholarship Match Initiative, to support students experiencing financial hardship with the cost of residential fees at The Women’s College. The Scholarship is maintained by income generated from the underlying endowment fund.
