Eligibility
You're eligible if:
- you are an Australian Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person;
- you can demonstrate financial hardship; and
- you are enrolled in one of the following:
- Bachelor of Computer Science,
- Bachelor of Computer Science (Honours),
- Bachelor of Engineering (Honours),
- an engineering integrated program,
- Bachelor of Information Technology,
- Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours), or
- a dual program in any one of these programs.

You only need to submit ONE application to be considered for ALL scholarships in the Aspire Scholarship scheme, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Education Scholarship scheme and the UQ Residential Scholarship scheme.
You may need to upload supporting documentation that shows your:
- financial circumstances (Centrelink statement, tax notice, etc.)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander status
- academic achievement
- community service/leadership achievements.

Selection criteria
We'll consider:
- demonstrated financial hardship;
- personal qualities including leadership potential;
- academic ability; and
- any other matter considered relevant to your future academic success.
