Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are an Australian Citizen
  • do not hold a scholarship that the Associate Dean considers to be similar
  • are studying one of the below engineering fields, full-time: 
    • electrical engineering
    • electrical and biomedical engineering
    • electrical and computer engineering
    • mechanical engineering
    • mechanical and aerospace engineering
    • mechanical and materials engineering
    • mechatronic engineering
    • software engineering; or
  • are studying one of the below computer science/information technology programs:
    • Bachelor of Computer Science
    • Bachelor of Information Technology (Honours)
    • Bachelor of Science majoring in Computational Science
    • Computer Science (extended major)
    • or dual program in any of these programs
  • have a disability.

You'll need:

  • a cover letter
  • a resume
  • your most recent studies report from mySI-net (if you have completed more than 1 semester)
  • your Year 12 report (if you are a first-year student)
  • ATAR Advice Notice (or equivalent, if you are a first-year student)
  • a copy of your Student Access Plan (SAP) application or;
  • a completed Medical Form (available to download from the application form).

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • your academic achievement
  • personal qualities (including leadership potential)
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant.

Where all other considerations are equal, preference will be given to female or Indigenous Australians.
