Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are of Islamic faith and can demonstrate involvement in Islamic society and community
  • have demonstrated academic excellence

and at least one of the following:

  1. can demonstrate financial hardship or other personal circumstances impacting study
  2. can demonstrate regional or remote disadvantage
  3. can demonstrate leadership qualities
  4. can demonstrate community involvement contributing to the Islamic society.

The Australian Muslim Academic Scholarship (AMAS) Program is a partnership between the Islamic Museum of Australia and UQ. The aim of the program is to provide development opportunities for future Islamic leaders across Australia, ensuring gender equality and equal opportunity.
