About this scholarship
The Ministry of Education, Taiwan is offering Huayu Enrichment Scholarship (HES) for UQ students to study Mandarin Chinese in Taiwan for three (3) months during the period of 1 September 2024 to 31 August 2025.
The main objective of this scholarship is to promote the learning of Mandarin language among UQ students by offering them the opportunity to study in Taiwan. Additionally, it aims to deepen understanding of Taiwanese culture and society, while fostering mutual understanding and interactions between Australia and Taiwan.
Rules
An approved credit towards CHIN2100 will be allocated to any students who are successful in receiving this scholarship and complete the program successfully.
Scholarship recipients should choose to study in one of the eligible language centres listed here. UQ candidates are encouraged to choose a program from one of UQ's Global Connect Scheme (GCS) partners in Taiwan:

- National Cheng Kung University (NCKU)
- National Chengchi University (NCCU)
- National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU)
- Tamkang University (TKU)
