Scholarship description

Boeing is currently developing capabilities in congestion modelling within large scale urban environments. One aspect of this modelling is determination of zonal information within city limits. As this data is available in limited amounts and from disparate sources, a general inference tool is needed to generate and determine this information from easily sourced, publicly available data sources. The aim of this project is to be able generate accurate zonal information for any urban area using a variety of easily accessible open source data sets.
