How to apply

2020 applications opening late-December.

As being in receipt of a 2020 UQ Link Scholarship is a requirement for eligibility for the Aspire Scholarships, Aspire Residential-JD Adams Memorial Scholarships and UQ Senate Create Change Residential Scholarships, applicants only need to complete and submit one Aspire Scholarships application form to be considered for all or any of the three scholarships.

  1. Go to the 'Online Application Form' link and create a user profile.
    • Please use the same personal details as your QTAC application. We don't recommend you use your secondary school email address or UQ student email address.
    • If you've applied for Enhanced Studies Program,  UQ Academic Scholarships or LEAD Scholarships at UQ, you will already have a user profile to use. Please use the same profile.
  2. On your Profile page, choose 'Programs' and select 'Aspire Scholarships'.
  3. Answer all applicable questions on the Application Form.
  4. Check the boxes after you have read the Supporting Documentation, Privacy Policy and Applicant Declaration.
  5. Upload supporting documentation in the 'Upload Documents' section (refer to the information below)
  6. When you are ready to finalise your application, having completed the application form and uploaded all supporting documentation, click the ‘SUBMIT’ button.
    • Please note, the application form cannot be edited once it has been submitted. Up until you are ready to submit, you can 'Save' the form and return to it at any time by selecting the 'Edit' button.
  7. Once your application has been submitted, you will receive a confirmation email. Please contact the Student Fees and Scholarships Office at ugscholarships@uq.edu.au if you haven’t received your confirmation email within 2 working days of submitting your application. (Please note, these emails may appear in your Junk/Spam folder and not your Inbox)

It is recommended when opening links within the application form to use the 'Open in a new tab' or 'Open in a new window' option, if available, to keep the application form open at the same time.

Supporting Documentation/Evidence

You are required to upload documentation to support your application. All documentation must be uploaded before your application is considered complete – you must upload documentation prior to submitting your application as documentation cannot be added once you have submitted.
