Eligibility
You’re eligible if you:
- have received an offer of a place in an undergraduate economics program with us and plan to take it up. Please note that the following programs are excluded:
- Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours)
- Bachelor of Politics, Philosophy and Economics (Honours)
- are an international student
- are not currently studying in Australia (with the exception of English language).
Please note that scholarships awarded are subject to funding availability.

You'll need:
- your CV
- a reference letter in English from a teacher at your institution or from an employer that ranks your academic performance against your peer group
- a personal statement about why you wish to study this program at UQ, your career and personal goals and what you’ve done in the past that shows your commitment to these goals.
