The scholarships shall be awarded to commencing students assessed by QTAC as being eligible for UQ Link Program, in accordance with the UQ Link eligibility criteria.

  • Eligibility

    An applicant is eligible for the award of a scholarship in a year, if the applicant—
    • is or will be a domestic student within the meaning of the Fee Rules; and
    • is enrolled, or intends to enrol as a commencing student at The University of Queensland in a relevant program in the year of the award or after an approved deferral of up to two years; and
    • has not completed any prior tertiary study at bachelor level or above; and
    • has demonstrated significant financial disadvantage through achieving maximum points for the ‘Financial Hardship’ category of QTAC’s Educational Access Scheme.

     

The purpose of the scholarship is to provide assistance to students who have experienced educational disadvantage as a result of financial hardship, who are commencing a relevant program at The University of Queensland.
