Description

Please note: this tuition fee waiver is not offered in semester 2, 2020.

UQ Business School is offering up to two (2) 50% tuition-fee waiver scholarships to outstanding domestic students commencing one of the following coursework Masters programs:

•    Master of Business (#24 or #32);
•    Master of Commerce (#24 or #32);
•    Master of Entrepreneurship and Innovation;
•    Master of Tourism, Hotel & Event Management (#24 or #32)

The scholarship will entitle the successful applicant to receive a 50% discount on their course tuition fees for a maximum period of 36 months. If the scholarship recipient exceeds the 36-month timeframe they become solely responsible for the full tuition cost of any and all remaining courses after the date specified in the scholarship offer.

For scholarship holders who do not continue to meet all of the requirements of the program, the scholarship will be withdrawn and the student will not be eligible to re-apply for any coursework Masters scholarship. For more information on the scholarships, please email info@business.uq.edu.au.

How to apply

Meet the entry requirements and receive an unconditional offer for the Master of Business; Master of Commerce; Master of Entrepreneurship & Innovation; or Master of Tourism, Hotel & Event Management; and

Provide the Scholarship Panel with a personal statement in video format, of no more than five minutes in length, answering the following four questions:

  • About your motivations for choosing to study a Master’s degree with UQ Business School and your career aspirations
  • About a time you overcame a professional or personal obstacle
  • What have you done to make your work environment or your community a better place
  • Any additional information of note you wish the Scholarship Panel to take into consideration.  This could include carer responsibilities; financial hardship; volunteering or other similar non-paid work experiences; start-up roles; etc.  

Provide your CV and two written references (these can be personal or professional references).
