Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are a domestic student
  • are enrolled full-time in an Approved Program
  • have completed at least 28 units, but not more than 43 units towards your program
  • don't hold another scholarship that the Associate Dean considers to be similar.

Approved Programs

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours)
  • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering
  • or an engineering dual program.

  • a copy of your studies report from mySI-net.

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • academic achievements
  • personal qualities including leadership potential, community service and engagement
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to your future success in the engineering profession.

Preference may be given to students studying:

  • mechanical engineering
  • electrical engineering
  • mining engineering
  • mining and geotechnical engineering.
