Description
The PhD candidate will work on designing and developing microwave phased array antennas and other state-of-the-art antenna configurations for the practical purpose of underwater microwave (concrete material based) infrastructure inspection. In addition the PhD candidate will be researching new signal processing and image generation schemes both in terms of electronic and software implementation.

Selection criteria
A background in electrical engineering or a related field would be of benefit to someone working on this project. Previous experience in microwave engineering, antenna design and electromagnetics is highly desirable.
