  • Eligibility

    To be eligible for the Scholarship you must: -

    • Be female
    • Be enrolled full time in the second or third year of one of the following undergraduate programs:
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Electrical Engineering / Extended Major;
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering - Electrical Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Civil Engineering / Extended Major;
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Civil and Geotechnical Engineering
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Civil and Environmental Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering - Civil Engineering
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering Fire and Safety Engineering
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) - Mechanical Engineering / Extended Major;
    • Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) / Master of Engineering - Mechanical Engineering;
    • Bachelor of Regional and Town Planning; 
    • Bachelor of Architectural Design;
    • Have a GPA of 5.0 or above (provide evidence)

The National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) scholarship is designed to support women in all fields of construction. The National Association of Women in Construction’s mission is to raise the profile of women working in the construction industry and be a positive instrument for change in the construction industry. The National Association of Women in Construction started in 1995 and has strived to build the organisation to encourage and support women in the construction and related affiliated industries.
