The McDonnell Academy for International Scholars provides full tuition for study in a doctoral, professional or master’s degree program at Washington University in St. Louis (for up to five years); a 12-month living stipend of US$28,000 for each year that the scholar is making satisfactory progress toward a degree; a one-time travel allowance of up to $1,500 for travel to St. Louis for a period of study as an Academy scholar; and travel support for one or more extended trips to a partner institution of the Academy.

  • Eligibility

    Applicants to the McDonnell Academy must be a graduate of a partner university – which includes the University of Queensland. Applicants must also apply to one of a select group of full-time doctoral, professional or master’s degree programs
