This scholarship is open to Australian citizens, permanent residents and international students who are currently in Australia at the time of application and commencement. Find out more.

Candidates who meet UQ’s academic entry requirements, including an approved academic degree, academic excellence, and relevant research experience are encouraged to submit an IMB internal expression of interest (EOI).

If your IMB internal EOI is successful, you will be put in touch with your chosen principal advisor, and together, you will lodge an application formally to UQ for entry into UQ’s Doctor of Philosophy program and scholarship support. We will guide you through these later steps.

  • Submit EOI by August 15
  • Potential Principal advisors may contact you to request further information by early September 2021
