Eligibility

You're eligible if you:

  • are a domestic student
  • has completed at least 32 units and less than 48 units towards any engineering integrated undergraduate program at the time of application
  • does not hold a scholarship that the Head considers to be similar
  • are enrolled full time in any engineering integrated undergraduate program in the Relevant Field in the year of the application.

How to apply

In the UQ application portal, complete the application form.

You will need to include the following:

  • cover letter
  • resume
  • short-answer written submissions
  • a copy of your most recent studies report from mySi-net.

Selection criteria

We'll consider:

  • academic achievement
  • strength of interest that you demonstrate in completing at least one period of vacation employment at EY
  • personal qualities, including leadership potentia
  • any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to your future success in the engineering profession.

What happens next

We’ll acknowledge your application by email. If you have not received an email within 2 days of applying, email scholarships@eait.uq.edu.au.

If you’re considered eligible, we’ll forward your application to a selection panel to review.

If you’re successful, we will notify you in writing to organise an interview.

About this scholarship

The scholarship was established in 2013 and is maintained by an annual gift from Ernst and Young.
