Description
CP-Achieve is offering PhD scholarships in the areas of:
- Data linkage
- Lifestyle programs
- Building supportive environments
- Orthopaedics
- Cerebral palsy cohort studies
Focussing on participants aged 10-30 years. Research Students will be supervised by at least one investigator from the CP-Achieve team.
We have two overarching aims:
- To quantify the health impact of CP, evaluate current practice and develop evidence to improve physical and mental health.
- To build supportive family, community and health service environments.
We are seeking Research Students to undertake a PhD funded by the CRE in projects relating to the above aims. We welcome applications from Research Students from various academic disciplines, including: physiotherapists, paediatricians, speech pathologists, occupational therapists, psychologists and nurses.
Eligibility
Research students must be Australian citizens or have permanent resident status with qualifications recognised in Australia (except in exceptional circumstances).
Research students must arrange at least TWO supervisors. One supervisor should be a Chief Investigator or Associate Investigator on CP-Achieve. List of investigators can be found here.
Research students will be awarded on a competitive basis and are conditional upon acceptance into a PhD program by a tertiary institution.
