Award value:
$47,393 living stipend per year, indexed annually. Additional funding of up to $15,000 per year may also be available, consisting of $10,000 for operating funds and $5,000 for travel.

  • Eligibility

    The scholarship is open to domestic candidates. 

    To be eligible you must:

    • Complete this PhD full-time and onshore in Australia.
    • Be assessed by the Graduate School as meeting all conditions for admission to the PhD program.
    • Not already hold a PhD.
    • Not be receiving a living allowance award, scholarship or salary providing a benefit greater than 75% of the RTP Scholarship living allowance rate to undertake the research higher degree program.
    • Not be receiving a Commonwealth funded tuition fee scholarship.
