Description
The American Australian Association awards Fellowships each year to Australians for advanced research and study in the United States, and to Americans for advanced research and study in Australia. Information on this page is relevant to Americans incoming to Australia.
The American Australian Association Scholarships build on existing strong social and economic partnerships and foster intellectual exchange between the United States and Australia.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- be an American citizen or permanent resident (dual Australian citizens/permanent residents are not eligible)
- be undertaking or about to undertake research or study at graduate level or above in Australia
- be studying or conducting research within the fields of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, sustainability, medicine and health sciences
- be accepted by or affiliated with UQ
- plan to undertake a minimum one-year full time research or study
Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrable financial need.
