About this scholarship
Established in 2025 by gifts from multiple donors to honour the legacy of a pioneering veterinarian whose leadership as Dean of UQ’s School of Veterinary Sciences from 1973 to 1980 reflected deep regard for student wellbeing and for the veterinary profession. Unsurprisingly, veterinary alumni have rallied to build the scholarship fund, seeded with support from Alumni Friends as part of their Diamond Jubilee celebration. The Scholarship reflects Trevor’s rural roots and his desire to support rural veterinary practice.
